Lot Description
Louis Vuitton Suitcase from the Palmer Family, Early 20th Century 

This suitcases features the Initials P.P., likely for Pauline Palmer as the blue and red stripe match the other Louis Vuitton pieces from this family. The suitcase is also stamped with the number 23.   

Louis Vuitton suitcases in LV monogram stamped canvas, with brown leather trim stamped with the LV logo, and metal hardward, including the original key.  The interior is lined in ivory canvas.

The center front lock is stamped with "S. G. L. G Patent / Louis Vuitton /Made in France / 70 Champs Elysees / Paris / 149 New Bond Street / London" with most of the wording ilegible. 
Serial Numer: 05093 (with the last number covered by a sticker, but likely 05093, like the key)
Key is marked "L. Vuitton / 050933"

Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition is fair with most of the case in good condition with some creasing in the back fold and signifcant wear on the handle. Some paint in the stamping as flaked off in areas. The exterior has scratching throughout from use.
