Diane von Furstenberg introduced the wrap dress in 1974 and can be seen wearing a dress similar to the one in this lot on the cover of Newsweek (March 1976).  

White knit cotton wrap dress printed with an abstract brown pattern. The dress is cut with long sleeves and a belted wrap closure.
