LINCOLN, Abraham (1809-1865). Partly-printed appointment signed ("Abraham Lincoln") as President of the United States. Washington, D.C. 22 February 1865.

1 page, 15 1/2 x 19 1/2 in. creasing especially at the corners, light soil, toning. Docketing to upper left corner.

An appointment for Murray Davis as Assistant Adjutant General of Volunteers with the rank of Major. Signed by President Lincoln and countersigned by the Secretary of War Edwin M. Stanton.
