[LINCOLN, Abraham (1809-1865)]. [GARDNER, Alexander (1821-1882), photographer]. A group of 2 stereoviews of the execution of Mrs. Surratt and the Lincoln Assassination Conspirators. Hartford, CT: Taylor & Huntington, ca 1890s.
6 3/8 x 3 in. stereoviews, one on an oversized, orange cardstock mount (toning, light edge wear to mount), the other image unmounted (creasing throughout print, edge wear, mount residue to verso). Each from Taylor & Huntington's "War for the Union, Photographic War History" series, which is comprised of images spanning 1861-1865, taken from negatives by Alexander Gardner.
