[NORTH DAKOTA-MINNESOTA]. 19th and early 20th-century diaries & ledgers regarding Upper Midwest.

School District Clerk's Record Book for School District No. 73, County of Barnes, North Dakota. Bismarck, ND: Tribune, 1906. Completed in manuscript, 12 July 1910-ca 1914. Oblong 8vo. (Minor toning.) Contemporary one-quarter black calf with marbled boards, printed title label to front board (light scuffs). Includes meeting minutes and financial records.

[With:] Ledger journal from the Bank of Hamilton, ca 1890-1897. Grand Forks, ND: The Herald, ca 1890. Completed in manuscript, October 1890-1897. Folio. Original half calf with red cloth, spine in 5 compartments with 4 raised bands gilt. -- Justice Docket ledger. Lincoln County, Dakota Territory/South Dakota. Complete in manuscript, November 1888-August 1904. Folio. Later one quarter calf with brown cloth boards (minor scuffing). 

[Also with:] Manuscript songbook identified to Miss Lillie M. Loope of Owatonna, Minnesota. N.d. 4to. (Heavy soil and wear with occasional losses.) Marbled paper wrappers (heavy wear and losses); Modern marbled paper slipcase. 22 leaves with manuscript songs and verse. -- Diary, ca 1912-1918, of a young woman from Zenith, North Dakota. 12mo. Coated black cloth with snap closure (minor creasing). -- Five-year diary spanning 1935-1940 and identified to Philip N. Levang (1913-2000). 12mo. Textured leather gilt with clasp and lock (wear to extremities, lock tarnished).

Frontispiece with illustrations. (Toned, some soiling, hinges reinforced.) Original illustrated green cloth (some fading, rebacked with original cloth laid down). -- CODY, William Frederick (1846-1917). Story of the Wild West and Camp Fire Chats. Chicago: The Charles C. Thompson Co., 1902. Illustrated. (Toning, very occasional page repairs.) Original illustrated cloth (some fading, minor wear to extremities). -- Together, 3 works in 3 volumes, 8vo, condtions as described.
