MELVILLE, Herman (1819-1891). A group of 7 uniformly bound works, comprising:
7 works in 8 volumes, 8vo. (Very light spotting and toning throughout, a few volumes with slight marginal dampstaining.) Uniformly bound in contemporary half calf, later red and black leather lettering-pieces gilt (rubbing, some chipping to spine heads, small loss to spine on Moby Dick volume, a few hinges starting); later slipcase. Various later editions, all published in New York by Harper & Brothers, 1855.
