[WORLD WAR II]. PATTON, George S. (1885-1945). Garrison cap signed ("GS Patton Jr. Gen.") in presentation display.

11 x 5 3/4 in. garrison cap pinned in four corners to a mat and displayed below a facsimile photograph of George S. Patton, with descriptive plaque below. Framed, 22 1/2 x 34 in. (not examined outside frame). Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity issued by the Art of Music Management, Las Vegas, NV. 

Four-star US Army General George S. Patton (1909-1945) commanded the US 7th Army in the Mediterranean and European theaters of World War II. He is best known for leading the US 3rd Army in France and Germany following the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944.
