4 x 5 3/8 in. cabinet photographs on cardstock mounts (even toning to prints and mounts, occasional light soiling). Each photograph is titled in the negative, with imprint on mount below, "Department of the Interior, / US Geological and Geographical Survey of the Territories. / F.V. Hayden, US Geologist, in Charge."
