[WAR OF 1812]. Boston Patriot. No. 48, Vol. XIL. Boston, MA: Davis C. Ballard, 22 February 1815. 

Containing complete printing of the Treaty of Ghent.

4pp., folio, 14 1/2 x 19 3/4 in. Disbound (toning, staining, occasional spotting, wear to edges including loss to lower right edges/corners of newspaper). Original owner identified in the upper margin in brown iron gall ink. Provenance: Library of Stephen Foreman (blindstamp on newspaper, lower right on p. 3).

This issue contains prominent, bold inside page headlines with a complete printing of the Treaty of Ghent, signed in type by President James Madison. The Treaty of Ghent marked the end of the War of 1812 between the US and Great Britain. Additional headlines and reports of the end of the War of 1812 are included.
