[EARLY PHOTOGRAPHY]. 2 whole plate daguerreotypes, incl. portrait of a man by FULLER.
Whole plate daguerreotype of a distinguished gentleman. (Light tarnish to edges, few dimples near lower edge). Under mat credited at lower left to "Fuller," possibly George Fuller who worked both as a photographer and portrait painter in Upstate New York. Housed in period frame, 12 x 14 in. overall (very good condition, few small chips to edges and light scratches).
[With:] Whole plate daguerreotype of a woman seated in a studio. (Light tarnish to edges, appear to be scratches and wipes to surface of plate.) Housed under mat (scattered spotting) in period gilt gesso frame, 14 x 16 in. overall (chips and small cracks).
