Condition Report
Please note the revised description noting: retains old paint and traces of the original surface.
Appears to retain much of the original paint with areas of scattered in-paintings, particularly to her robes. Craquelure, surface wear and residue visible throughout. Scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and handling. Scattered areas of loss to the paint. Under UV, the red robes fluoresce where they have been touched up, while the areas of over painting to the blue do not appear to show up. The blue shows variations in color, suggesting areas of touch up to the paint, but they do not appear visible under UV light. There is an old 1 1/2” diameter dent to her left shoulder. An old vertical crack along the proper right side of the base, but no concern for the structural integrity or stability.
