Lot Description
Rare Complete Set of M.H. Cole Knife Books: US Military Knives Books I through IV and The Skinning Knife Book

A complete set of all four of M. H. Cole's books on US military knives along with his book on skinning knives. The following titles are included:

1) A Collection of US Military Knives (referred to as "Book I" by collectors)

2) A Collection of US Military Knives - Book II

3) US Military Knives Book III

4) US Military Knives Book IV

5) The Skinning Knife

Books II and IV are signed and personalized by Cole, the others are unsigned. While Books III and IV are available in the market from time to time they usually cost between $200 and $300 each. Books I and II rarely appear for sale, particularly Book I. This is a very rare opportunity to add a complete set of Howard's groundbreaking reference books to your library with a single purchase.

Condition Report

All the books rate good to very good with wear from use and showing some age discoloration. A rare chance to own all the Cole references at once.
