Condition Report
Framed: 35 1/2 x 24 1/2 x 4 inches.
Significant deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; network of craquelures throughout; two pinpoint paint losses in the lower right corner, as well as one pinpoint paint loss in the hair of the right-most nymph; a shallow tear, accompanied by paint losses in the upper center, within a tree trunk, no greater in length than 1/2 inch; pinpoint brown and black stains scattered throughout; varnish layer has unevenly discolored in areas. Under UV light: no apparent inpainting is visible. Additional images available upon request.
