Lot Description

**Colt Agent with Hammer Shroud

.38 Special. 2" barrel length. SN: 262616LW. Blued metal finish to steel parts with black anodized aluminum frame, black synthetic hammer shroud, and checkered walnut Colt medallion grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver with topstrap notch and matted front blade sights. Markings include {Rampant Colt} logo to the sideplate, Colt's VP monogram proof on the triggerguard, and AGENT/.38 SPECIAL CTG. to the left barrel. The right side of the barrel is marked COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A., with a further {Rampant Colt} logo to the right side of the hammer shroud.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is Bright with one spot of brown patina and crisp rifling. Finish is worn down on the left barrel and to the right muzzle, with some further light scratches and edgewear on the cylinder. Further flaking of the blue on the rear cylinder, and a light turn ring. Abrasion to the forward frame on the left side. grips show some residue in the checkering on the right panel. Action displays good timing. Screw heads on the hammer shroud and right frame show some deformations.
