Lot Description
**Colt Police Positive .32
.32 S&W Long. 4" barrel length. SN: 122305. Blued metal finish overall with polished hammer flanks mounting black hardrubber COLT marked grips. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver mounting topstrap notch and hemispherical front blade sights. Sideplate shows the {Rampant Colt} logo with the left barrel struck POLICE/POSITIVE. 32 POLICE CTG. The top of the barrel is marked with the two-line address and patent marking reading COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A./PAT'D AUG. 5. 1884. JUNE 5. 1900 JULY 4. 1905. Left triggerguard displays the standard VP monogram proof marking.

Condition Report
Very Good. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Revolver displays light edgewear overall with a continuous drag line on the cylinder with some further muzzle wear and abrasions. Cylinder shows some light flakes between locking notches on the cylinder and brown patina forming in losses. The flanks of the hammer show some light gray patina. Finish on the gripstraps is worn with brown patina forming in losses. Hardrubber grips show light scuffs, scratches, and mars on the edges of the butt. Action displays good timing.
