All but one dated 1873 (one dated 1844), with stamped official seals. Documents record the liberation (or attempted liberation) of several individuals from enslavement, including a 15-year-old Creole girl named Lucia, a 41-year-old African woman named Catalina, a 21-year-old Creole man named Lorenzo, a 7-year-old Creole boy named Luis, and others.
