Single action smokeless frame revolver with loading gate, fluted 6-chambered cylinder, frame notch rear sight and blade front sight. Matching serial numbers on frame, on the left side of the gripstrap and backstrap under the grips and scratch numbered on the interior of the grips. One line Hartford barrel address, three-date in two-line patent mark on lower left of frame with Rampant Colt logo. The revolver features nearly full coverage engraving covering the barrel, frame and most of the cylinder with flowing Arabesque foliate scrolls and is stamped COLT ENG on the left side of the gripstrap, under the grip. Even the front sight blade is engraved. The engraving is very crisp and neatly executed in every way. The revolver is contained in a Colt box with fitted interior with an orange velvet lining. A really lovely early 3rd Generation Colt Custom Shop Single Action with outstanding engraving in essentially "as new" condition.
