.45 LC. 5.5" barrel length. SN: 97482SA. Casehardened frame with balance of parts blued, polished hammer flanks, and black Colt Eagle grips. Single-action loading gate revolver with six-shot cylinder. Item mounts topstrap notch and front blade sights on a round barrel with ejector rod assembly. Markings include two-line patent mark to the left frame followed by the {Rampant Colt} logo. Left barrel displays the COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45 marking, with the top struck COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A. Comes in a matching COLT marked wood grain cardboard box.
