SOULE, William S. (1836-1908). A group of 5 CDVs of Kiowa subjects. Fort Sill, Indian Territory. Ca late 1860s.
5 CDVs by William S. Soule, each with the verso imprint, "W.S. Soule, Fort Sill, Indian Territory." Subjects include: Kiowa woman. -- Satanta, Kiowa chief. -- Pacer, Kiowa Apache. -- Satanta's son, Kiowa. -- Tar-lo (Lone Bear). (See BELOUS, Russell, & WEINSTEIN, Robert. Together, 5 CDVs on cardstock mounts. Condition generally good, with some fading to prints. Four mounts with small pinholes near top edge.
