[CIVIL WAR]. Sixth plate tintype featuring a triply armed Union infantry private with a Smith & Wesson revolver and cocked forage cap.
Seated portrait of a bearded enlistee wearing a side knife and a Smith & Wesson No. 1 second issue revolver in his belt and holding a rifle musket in one hand. His forage cap is slightly tilted to one side and his buttons, belt plate, and breast plate are highlighted in gold. (Image a bit dark, with some spots of loss from rubbing and some wear to emulsion; unsealed.) Housed in a pressed paper case.
