Souvenir handkerchief featuring portrait of David G. Farragut above rendering of the USS Hartford, 11 x 10 1/2 in. (light toning, otherwise good). -- Farragut Day October 19th, 1897, Hartford, Conn. Silk ribbon, approx. 8 in. long, with American flag and "Staff" ribbon attached at top. Features portrait of Farragut (some fraying to bottom edge). -- GAR Delevate Department Encampment and Reunion, Hartford, May 18 & 19, 1904. Silk ribbon, approx. 6 in. long with American flag ribbon attached at top (some fraying to bottom edge). -- Gideon Welles Naval Veteran Ass'n. of Conn. 14th Annual Reunion, Savin Rock, July 15, 1897. Silk ribbon, 6 3/4 in. long (toning, holes/areas of separation, frayed edegs). -- President Benjamin Harrison presidential campaign medal, approx. 5/8 in., housed inside frame in the form of a cross, which is attached to a ribbon with text, "GAR Celebration, Hartford" (date difficult to discern). -- Farragut Veteran Association, Port of New York. Bronze medal attached to silk ribbon, approx. 2 1/2 in. long (wear to ribbon).

New York. 31 December 1864. Front page illustration featuring the USS Hartford (toning, some edge wear). -- Harper's Weekly. New York. 15 October 1870. Front page illustration of the Farragut funeral procession passing up Broadway (toning). -- Single page removed from illustrated magazine depicting D.G. Farragut.
[With:] 4 silver gelatin press photographs, approx. 7 x 9 in., or smaller, showing the USS Hartford, including a view of the ship at the Washington Navy Yard, and images taken after she sunk. Each with ink stamps and/or descriptive labels on verso. Three (3) of the photographs are accompanied by Certificates of Authenticity from the Baltimore Sun. -- 2 x 2 3/8 in. print showing two sailors aboard the USS Texas according to modern notation on accompanying envelope (heavily toned, chipping to edges, partially mounted on trimmed album page).
[Also with:] Commemorative Stamp and cover depicting David Farragut, postmarked Gettysburg, 29 June 1995. -- The Old Navy and the New. Identified in lower margin as "Supplement to the North American, Philadelphia, Sunday, June 10, 1917. "10 1/2 x 13 1/2 in. print (toning, wear to edges). Features depictions of the USS Hartford and USS Texas.
