More than 30 signatures of British notables, including politicians, artists, authors, and actors. Collection is highlighted by the following:

REYNOLDS, Sir Joshua (1723-1792). Autograph document signed ("Joshua Reynolds"). London, [?] November 1783. 1p, 8 1/2 x 3 1/4 in. (creasing, toning, loss from binder hole at top center). Receipt in the amount of "one-hundred sixty-three pounds five shillings being the amount of an account due to me by the late Earl of Errol...."

HARDY, Thomas (1840-1928). Autograph letters signed ("T. Hardy"). Max Gate, Dorchester. 14 November 1907. 1p, 4 1/2 x 7 in. (creasing at fold, toning, light soil). Letter to a publish giving permission to use a passage from his novel The Trumpet Major.
