Single action percussion six-shot revolver with octagonal barrel and brass bead front sight. The top of the barrel features Colt's -ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY- marking, while the left frame shows COLTS/PATENT mark. Serial numbers match on all parts, but item mounts a replacement non numbered wedge pin. Multiple screws have been replaced including: forward triggerguard screw, both upper rear gripstrap screws, hammer screw, wedge pin screw, and the loading lever mounting screw. Mounts synthetic ivory grips.
