DA/SA short recoil operated autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. The left slide displays ac 45 code marking indicating the pistol was manufactured by Carl Walther in 1945. The serial numbers match on all principal parts. Item shows the {Eagle/359} Waffenampt marking to the right slide, left frame, and the right side of the locking block. The {WWII German Eagle} stamp appears on the slide beside the Waffenampt mark, on the left barrel near the breech, and on the left locking block. Further marks include fnh stamp to the underside of the barrel, WaA76 Waffenampt mark on the left barrel. The grip panels show the mold markings P/1528/3 to the right panel and P/1529/3 to the left.
