** Sporterized Rock Island Arsenal US Springfield Model 1903 Rifle

.25-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 175843 (Mfg. ca.1906). Blued metal finish. Walnut Monte Carlo-style stock has burled wood caps to plain semi pistol grip and forend. Bolt action rifle with sights removed. Item features an internal box magazine and single scope mount to rear of receiver. Receiver is marked US/ROCK ISLAND/ARSENAL/MODEL 1903/175843. Barrel is marked with caliber to left side and has a horsehead mark on top just in front of receiver.

Condition Report

Fair to good. Bore is bright. Finish has scattered losses, scratching, and sprinkled pit marks overall. Wood stock has scratching and mars overall.
