Lot Description
** 1952 Soviet Tula SKS Arsenal Refurbished
7.62x39mm. 20" barrel length. SN: CCCP01087. Parkerized metal finish with laminated wood stock and mounting a folding blade bayonet. Short stroke piston driven gas operated semi-automatic rifle fed by an internal box magazine charged with stripper clips. The dustcover is struck with the {Arrow in Star} marking of the Tula Arsenal, and a date of 1952. The aforementioned serial number was added to the right receiver by the importer, with a further importer mark reading SKS 7.62X39/C.D.I. SWAN, VT MADE IN RUSSIA. The original serial number reads KM2355, and matches on all major components including: dustcover, extractor, receiver, triggerguard, magazine floorplate, gas piston, bolt carrier, bolt, left stock, and gas tube. The receiver cover shows the boxed Ukrainian rearsenal markings. Mounts military sights graduated from 100 to 1000 meters with the battle setting. The bayonet is unsharpened, and the rifle mounts a canvas sling with the OTK inspection stamp and a weakened date mark likely corresponding to 1990. The rifle shows the assortment of inspection stamps typical of Soviet firearms. The buttstock cleaning kit is complete, and the rifle comes with its cleaning rod.
