Philippine-American War Band Baton Presented to Sergt. John Von Staden U.S. Volunteer Militia
About 43" long and 4" diameter. Band baton with silver ball head that is engraved Presented/to/Sergt. John von Staden/Officer's First Cal. U.S.V./MANILA. P.I./March 1899. Item has a walnut or rosewood shaft that is wrapped with bullion cord and has a silver tip.

Condition Report
About good. Silver finish has mottled appearance overall due to scratching and patina/tarnish. There is also some scattered denting to metal fittings.
