** Springfield Model 1903 Mark I
World War I
.30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 1169008. Parkerized metal refinish overall set in a walnut straight wrist stock with finger groves and mounting two stock screws. Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by an internal box magazine. Item mounts folding ladder rear and front blade sights. The Receiver features the ejection port cut to the left receiver for use with the Pedersen Device, and the receiver shows the appropriate marks reading U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MARK I. Barrel date mark reads SA/{Ordnance Bomb}/8-20. Trapdoor butt contains a two cell cleaning kit containing a bore snake on one side and oiler on the other. Rifle mounts a Pattern 1905 leather sling marked W.T.&B.CO./1918/R.E.W. Item has been arsenal refinished, and shows overlapping Circle P marks on the wrist with no visible cartouche.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. The Parkerized finish is strong with some cycling wear to the bolt and scattered light scratches. The muzzle shows some abrasions from bayonet mounting. The stock shows some scattered light mars and indentations. The sling has some scratches, mars, and some spots of discoloration.
