Lot of 6 Assorted WWII-era International Bayonets

Lot includes Yugoslavian M1948 bayonet with blade and hilt in Cosmoline, M/1896 Swedish bayonet with scabbard, German M1884/98 type III bayonet with Bakelite grip scales and blued scabbard with frog, British Pattern 1888 bayonet without scabbard, late production Japanese Type 30 bayonet with scabbard and simplified squared pommel, and a Remington made and British proofed Pattern 1907 bayonet with scabbard. Items range in overall length from 22.75" to 14". All items display standard manufacturer and inspection markings.

Condition Report

Fair to Very Good. Majority of bayonets show some rust on the pommels and guards, with some forming over the scabbard mountings as well. Brass pieces are all tarnished, and the leather scabbard has hardened with some scratches and abrasions. Yugoslavian bayonet retains a thick layer of Cosmoline on the blade with further preservative over the handle and body of the scabbard.
