Condition Report
Fine. Bore fine, mostly bright with some frosting and fine rifling. Metal retains some of the poorly applied war time finish, with thinning and fading, primarily at the contact points and high edges. There is some scattered minor surface oxidation on the metal, most noticeable on the buttplate. Rifle appears mechanically functional and cycles by hand as it should. Magazine with some of the black painted finish remaining. Stock crisp and fine with some lightly scattered dings and mars. Sling about good, fairly stiff in most places and likely permanently formed to the upper mount. Instruction manual poor, deteriorating and not likely to survive much handling.
