Single action revolver with smokeless powder frame, loading gate, fixed sights and fluted six chambered cylinder. One-line Hartford barrel address, left side of barrel roll marked: COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45. Lower left front of frame with three-date in two-line patent marking. Colt proof marks on left side of triggerguard web. The revolver is engraved with nearly full coverage with flowing foliate vines and sprays along the barrel and frame and between the chambers of the cylinder. The revolver is contained in a black Colt factory cardboard box with green interior that shows moderate wear. The gun is also accompanied by an aluminum cleaning rod, a bore brush, a crevice brush and the factory tri-fold flyer with instruction and spare parts pricing.
