Graphite inscription with date on verso, oil on panel, framed.

27 in. x 22 in. (sight)

Mr. Smith was purportedly involved in the China Trade. The sitters identified by family tradition.

Provenance: Descent in the family of the sitters until acquisition by the consignor.
