Philadelphia, 1684. Land grant on vellum, signed by William Penn, as Governor of Pennsylvania, granting ownership to a tract of land in Philadelphia to John Day. Vellum worn and stained; Signature and MS. faded. 6 1/2 x 11 1/2 in. (165 x 292 mm).
