Left receiver and barrel at breech feature the standard firing proof markings with further inspection marks to the barrel bands, triggerguard, lever, and buttplate. Right butt stamped II/94/FORT WILLIAM ARSENAL/2. Barrel marked N.S/NEP below the rear sight with the right butt struck with Nepalese markings, both this latter set of marks indicating the weapon entered Nepalese service.
