Lot Description
Pair of Reproduction Lepage Dueling Percussion Pistols in Case
.44 Caliber. 10.75" barrel length. SN: NSN. Polished bright finish overall with scrollwork embellishments to all parts, an octagonal barrel, and polished walnut stocks. Pair of single shot percussion pistols with rifled barrels and adjustable triggers in a walnut presentation case with tools. Both pistols feature spiral scroll engraving to all major components with border scroll on the barrels, in addition to multiple flutes along each edge. Items are unmarked. Included in the case are a full range of tools including: wood mallet, steel ramrod, brass tipped walnut cleaning rod, bore brush, nipple wrench, copper powder flask, bullet mold, and a walnut percussion cap box. Also included is the key. Case is lined internally with red felt.

Condition Report
Fair to Good. Bores show grease and dust throughout with strong rifling. Both pistols retain their finish and polish overall with few light mars to wood. Mallet handle is abraded where it rests under hammer. All items in case in Very Good to Excellent condition. Case shows some light scuffs to exterior and oil residue to interior. Both actions function, but fail to raise the rear sight into position, instead leaving it resting in its recess.
