.38 Special. 4" barrel length. SN: CBY0731. Blued metal finish overall with color case hardened hammer and trigger mounting fixed topstrap notch and matted front ramp sights in addition to black rubber grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver in a three screw frame without internal lock. Standard markings appear overall including Smith & Wesson monogram trademark to the left frame, four-line address to the right, and standard make and caliber markings on the barrel. Underside of the trigger is marked PCI 59 in electropen.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Item shows a continuous turn ring on the cylinder with some edgewear overall, scattered light scratches, and brown patina forming within losses. grips show signs of hardening with some handling scuffs and mars. Action exhibits good timing.
