**Colt Detective Special Second Issue in Box
.38 Special. 2" barrel length. SN: 938371. Blued metal finish overall with polished hammer flanks mounting checkered walnut Colt medallion grips with topstrap notch and matted front blade sights. Double action hand ejector six-shot revolver featuring the {Rampant Colt} logo to the left sideplate. Item is marked DETECTIVE SPEC./.38 SPECIAL CTG. to the left barrel and COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CONN U.S.A. to the right. Comes in a wood print pattern COLT marked cardboard box.

Condition Report
Very Good to Excellent. Bore is Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Item shows a light turn ring to the cylinder with some light edgewear to the cylinder. Hammer displays some pinpoint brown patina. Grips exhibit some light handling wear with some light dents on the butt. Action shows good timing. Box has some scuffs on the edges and cracking to the corners of the lid.
