**Smith & Wesson Model 36 in Box
.38 Special. 1.875" barrel length. SN: 776711. Blued metal finish overall with color case hardened hammer and trigger mounting checkered Walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action five-shot hand ejector revolver featuring a pinned barrel on a three screw frame. Sights consist of a topstrap notch and matted front ramp. Standard make and model markings overall include Smith & Wesson monogram proof marking on the left frame with four-line address to the right. Comes in a matching blue cardboard box with the owner's manual.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is dirty with some residues and grease that should clean to Very Bright or better with sharp rifling. Metal finish showed a light turn ring to the cylinder. Patched brown patina over the crane with further patina forming on the cylinder near locking notches. Topstrap and right frame display some brown flecking. Grips retain crisp checkering with some light dents. Action displays good timing. Box shows some oxidation on the edges of the metal brackets to lid, and some peeling to the edges of the box.
