Lot Description
**Smith & Wesson Model 17 Target in Box
.22 LR. 6" barrel length. SN: K347034. Blued metal finish with color case hardened hammer and trigger mounting checkered walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver with pinned barrel and recessed cylinder on a four-screw frame. Item mounts adjustable target rear notch and Patridge front blade sights atop a matted barrel rib. Additionally features the wide target hammer and trigger. Markings include Smith & Wesson monogram trade mark to the sideplate and four-line address to right frame. Comes in a blue cardboard box with Smith & Wesson markings that lacks end label or serial number markings. Owner's manual included in the box.

Condition Report
Good to Very Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that should clean to Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows holstering abrasions to the flanks of the muzzle, further abrasions over each chamber, and a continuous turn ring to the cylinder. Some light edgewear overall with brown flecking in scattered locations on the frame. Brown patina forming over the butt. Some brown flecks to the left hammer. Action displays good timing. Box shows some peeling at corners and splitting to the corners of the lid.
