**Carl Gustafs Mauser Model 1896 Rifle

6.5x55mm Swedish. 29" barrel length. SN: 381169. Blued metal finish. Straight grip walnut stock with grasping grooves and handguard. Bolt action rifle with an adjustable tangent notch rear sight and blade front sight. Item features an internal box magazine, double sling swivels, and a bayonet lug forend. Markings include Carl Gustafs manufacturer marks and a 1916 date to receiver, as well as CAI importer marks to barrel.

Condition Report

Good. Bore is frosty. Finish has mottled light thinning overall, with scattered light scratches and pitting. Walnut stock shows scattered scratches and mars as well.
