Lot Description
Randall Model 27 Trailblazer
5.75" blade length. 4.75" hilt. 11.25" overall with sheath and hilt. Single edged blade mounting a brass guard and pommel cap, staghorn hilt, and 13-spacer configuration unique to the Model 27. Left ricasso struck RANDALL MADE/ORLANDO, FL between {Sabers} followed by S, the latter initial indicating the blade is stainless steel. Item features hidden tang construction, and comes with a leather sheet mounting a pouch for the sharpening stone. Stone is marked FINE INDIA MADE IN USA. Sheath is struck RANDALL MADE/KNIVES/ORLANDO, FLA. on the obverse side. Comes in a black nylon soft case with an owner's manual from Randall Made Knives.

Founded by Bo Randall in 1938, Randall Made Knives soon became well known for their quality and durability. Thousands of his hand-made knives were acquired by American military personnel during World War II, with Randall devising his first numerically assigned models especially for military service.

Condition Report
Excellent. Blade is bright with clean edges. Guard shows few faint scratches and traces of tarnish forming to brass. Staghorn grips without recognizable handling wear. Sheath has a stain to the belt loop with few scuffs on edges.
