Edo-Period Japanese Wakizashi
21.25" nagasa. Shinogi-zukuri blade with a single hole nakago that is unsigned. Blade features a chu-kissaki, ihori mune, midare-komi boshi, itame hada, and a hamon that appears to be midare sanbonsugi that transitions to gunome. Blade is mounted in koshirae including a brown/red lacquered saya, pierced iron tsuba, brass koshi-yujo habaki, and gilt wood tsuka that is wrapped with waxed brown ito and has iron fittings. Does not appear to have same. Likely Edo-period.
