A large Italian Baroque carved walnut pricket candlestick, 16th century

Condition Report
exhibiting more recently and nicely waxed surface, showing signs of genuine wear commensurate with age and use, including old insect holes and damage, and some occasional chips and small losses to edges or surface details; the three paw feet are of seamed construction, with at least one foot showing signs of a repair / reg-glued detachment; one corner of upper edge of base with repaired break; the metal poke at the top with bent tip, and the well showing wax residue; one side of base with large age crack
