A pair of Meissen porcelain figures depicting a musical couple, Germany, 19th century
Comprising a lady and gentleman in 18th-century dress, the lady playing a hurdy gurdy, the gentleman playing a musette, both figures marked with blue underglaze crossed swords mark indicating post-1815 production, the lady with impressed numerals "85" and incised, "1352"; the gentleman with impressed numerals "89" and incised, "1351."
