the first a hand-colored engraving by Simon Charles Miger (1736-1820) after Nicolas Marechal (1753-1803) entitled 'Camelus Dromedarius' from Lacépède's La Menagerie du Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle; the second a lithograph by Friedrich Leopold Burde (1792-1849) titled Felis Nimr.
