A Chinese “Dragon” Robe Fragment and An Indian or Kashmiri Embroidered Shawl
the fragment, dating to the 19th century, embroidered in silk and gold thread with dragons over mountain and waves on gauze, the shawl with various floral and foliate motifs on the red ground.
Height of dragon robe 45 1/2 x width 47 inches; length of floral shawl 102 inches.
