Voyage autour du monde, fait dans les annes 1803, 1804, 1805 et 1806, par les orders de Sa Majest Impriale Alexandre Ier, empereur de Russie, sur les vaisseaux la Nadiejeda et la Neva. Paris: Gide Fils, 1821.2 volumes (of 3, lacking atlas), 8vo. (203 x 121 mm). FIRST FRENCH EDITION, without the rare atlas. Krusenstern rounded Cape Horn and the Cape of Good Hope, and the geographical discoveries he made contributed greatly to the progress of geographical science. According to Hill, the French edition was apparently translated and revised by Krusenstern himself. Sabin 38332.
