A handsome and scarce first edition of this pocket-sized guide to North America and the West Indies, designed for use by British officers and subjects during the Revolutionary War, and complete with both maps. A second edition was issued in 1778.

According to RBH, this is only the third copy to appear at auction since 2010. Of the previous two copies, one was incomplete and missing the map of North America.
