Gross weight: 33.25 dwt.

The Danish sculptor, Bertel Thorvaldsen (1770 - 1844) created the neoclassical reliefs “Morning” and “Night” between 1815 and 1816. 'Morning' depicts the angel looking over her shoulder to the torch bearing child representing the sun. 'Night' shows an angel carrying two slumbering infants in her arms with an owl watching over. These two cameos are inspired by Thorvaldsen's reliefs.
