This dress featured on page 623 of the Kyoto Costume Institute's book 'Fashion: A History from the 18th to the 20th Century'. 

Red and black acetate/rayon blend crepe dress with glass beads, rhinestones, and plastic sequins styled in a shower head pattern. Worn in Fashion Extravaganza, Autumn/Winter 1983-84.
